Prey to Dismay
The ritual has been made
A grave of history
In which we all are laid
Buried
As the casket's lid was sealed
The present went insane
The truth was now revealed;
Discovered
As they walked
Into the hall
No one could see me
Nor hear my call
Their minds were locked
With darkened chains
Their bodies were embalmed
Bile was floating in their veins
Dirt covers dirt
Soul kills soul
Pain meets pain
End close at hand
Tragic is the missing innocence
Sad is the truth of life
The fading light won't make sense
They stare at their own demise
To laugh is their craving lust
Laugh as their hate arises
Forced by the thought they must
In the hall live by their lies
The dark takes the day
There's death in my way
My mind has to pay
I'm prey to dismay
The gates were opened
Light reflected
The hues of blue
Made my sight infected
Like thousands of others
My soul was deflected
I tried to reach out
But my cries was neglected
Dirt covers dirt
Soul kills soul
Pain meets pain
End close at hand
Demented spirits came and went
The core began to shake
The mindless had to pay their rent
Enslavement
They started to walk at noon
By their hands their way was
Crushed
A flash of light came soon
The hall
