I can't see straight anymore
I don't have to write yet I still do
I haven't any idea why, I just do

This is where I burn
Where the monsters come out of hiding
Here - in the quiet of afternoon tea
And petrichor soaked daydreams
This is where I ache
For the world's state and sake today
I am a man of many convictions
And right now, maternity is one of them
Mother to my own inferno
I birthed my own end, by my own design
I am never good but never am I horrid or bad
It's a state that's both scaresome and fulfilling
I am burning with everything I've got
My desire, my goals, my love, my pain and sadness
I hope it was all worth it
All this madness must lead to somewhere
