Sound of Bees
Their words take on the sound of bees, drawing my attention
But I don’t want them- they will sting
When I was younger, I’d make and lose friends- it was so much easier
But now that I’m older, the loss of my loved ones has left me so unhappy
And left me with these lonely little lines
(Refrain)
They are the reason I am running
They are the voices that I’ve heard, I’ve heard, I’ve heard
And they all come home with me
Lonely little lines…
The people that stare at me think that I’m dirty and not good enough to breathe
But they don’t even know me, and all they can show me is they’re not smart enough to see, to see me
They are the reason I am crying
They are the voices that I’ve heard, I’ve heard, I’ve heard
And they all come home with me
In my lonely little lines, such lonely little lines
The bees have their wishes like steely little kisses
And all I do is listen to be loved
I’ve opened up my wrist deep enough
For the voice to seep out of my life so I’m free to live
Opened up my heart just enough for some light to shine back in my life
So I’m free, yeah I’m free, free to love...
Not to be able to make people happy
Well it, it clouds my everything
The bees have their wishes with their steely little kisses
They take my pain away
The bees have their wishes with their butterfly kisses
They take my pain away
Everything’s gone
Everything’s wrong
I’ll hide away
All I can hear is what’s wrong
Their voice takes on the sound of bees
All I want is all gone
All I hear is so wrong
All I want is all gone
All I hear is bees
