Too Young To Die
When Sheila was thirteen
She heard a knock on her bedroom door
Since she got her new dad
This happened so many times before
She said No Daddy please
Don't you do this to me tonight
And he said Come here sugar
You'll like it Just give it a try
She went to her mother
With a tear in her eye
Told her the story
And started to cry
Mother didn't believer her
She didn't know why
It pushed her over the edge
She's never too young to die
So, Sheila had to get away
She went with Jimmy He made her his wife
Then her family moved away
And Jimmy left after a fight
Now she's fourteen years old
And lives with a man who puts junk in her veins
But he got her a job as a dancer
For fifty dollars a day
Then soldier boy came along
With his little boy face
He told her he'd help
And get her out of that place
Then he said You have to leave
Or you'll ruin my life
It pushed her over the edge
She's never too young to die
Sometimes it takes just one mistake
Sheila went back to getting high
She stuck a knife in her soldier boy's back
And she ran away like a thief in the night
No you're never to young to die
