I wish I still
Had friends like in the
Good old days when
I was a young kid
We played football in the garden
And picked apples from the neighbors

We'd fight but be friends the next day
Always scheming our runaway
We built castles in the woods
And had dreams we thought we understood

Bruised knees
From climbing trees
Never knew
