I was sinking deep in sin
Had no peace or joy within
Then I, Then I saw the light!

I knew God could put me right
But I kept wand'ring day and night 'til I, 'til I saw the light
I tho't I was having fun, when my life was on the run
God came down and changed my ways
Turned my darkest nights to days!
I'm no longer deep in sin
I've got peace and joy within
