Impulse Buy
Left at a supermarket
Hung high above the carts and things
I didn't know, I was a toy
Stuck with a yellow sticker
'Tween ice-packs and coffee filters
I, I'm just an impulse buy
It's so rare you find yourself at a place of peace
One of comfort
I'll share a little secret
Just for the two of us
I don't think that anyone really knows what they're doing
But that doesn't make the things they do
Any less wonderful
I've seen a sea of faces
I've seen a thousand more
But I'm not quite what they're here for
And haven't you ever wanted
A fall from the spot you were granted
Down, down, down
Straight through the floor
