I am leaving forever,
Miles will make me better.
We will walk together
In the windy weather.
Silver are my stockings,
Sewn from tears and mockings.
Broken are my heartstrings,
Tethered to the railings.
Heavy are my pockets,
Filled with shiny lockets
Guarding words of prophets
That won’t make me profits.
I am leaving, however
Time will make things better.
We well walk together,
Hearts light like a feather.
