In between seasons
Awakening feelings
The two of us were hungry
Looking for blueberry bushes
On silver mountain
Warding off the fruit flies with our hearts a burstin'
We were so thirsty
Dehydration during hibernation
But springtime is here
Just a little water will bring the garden
From wintertime to light

I'll meet you on the solstice
Ivy covering your eyes
So surprised to find a friend beside you
Veiled in finest vines
And my roar will split the mountain
Awestricken scenery divides
Strawberries clinging from the fountain
By the lips a kiss to keep me inside

The ridges of your teeth
Like switch blades carving initials in trees
Bear kisses bear
Taste buds will flair
As the skin of your tongue wraps around the treat
Of dreamy strawberries
Crushed and cooled
Hooking mouth to mouth
On the cliffs of romance
Overlooking strange worlds below
Where animals can share
We wandered through the forest
Like cubs aroused by vibrant voices
Such peculiar mossy carpets stretched beneath our feet
Teeth of sudden passion tore incisions on my cheeks
And the flavor lasts for weeks
Pure strawberry!
