You're gone in a flash, running so fast.
You're like a hurricane ten miles wide.
There's a quiver in your lips.
Like you're begging for a kiss, I guess your passions have all run dry.
You stare down at your feet, keep your eyes on every step.
You're moving to the beat of an old song in your head; staring at a girl in the corner of the room, I remember why I stay alive.

Good enough of a reason to feel loved.
Something we never talked about and you'd never explain, is how you got to where you are with someone else's name; and I ought to hate you by now but I can't give up on you.
