Waiting

You can't imagine how long we been waiting on God
Hoping one day, He will answer our call
Get our problems resolved, even though His job
Is to govern the planets, the sun, moon, and stars
I pray that He takes the time out to govern ours
Put an ending to hatred, and change racists laws
Face it y'all, God has His hands full enough
What makes you think, He has time to deal with us?
When it's tough we send prayers up, hoping to hear answers
Resurrect my child, cure my father of cancer
Cause I can't, and I know You got the power to
You the all powerful, ain't nobody doubting You
We're proud of You, for taking us this far
And not hitting our earth with a gigantic star
And ending it all, for everything breathing
I know we wait our whole life, to meet You for a reason

Them weapons be irreverent, shots dismembering your residence
