The sun was born and love was all around
It kissed the moon and all the stars were pleased
Every living thing was told that man has been created
And they laughed with joy to greet the new life

Then it seems that man came down, pulled from the pole of life
Everywhere, their voices were wrestling in the trees
Soon the winds had done their job

When I look around and see what the goal of life is
Still I wonder how much time there is, wanting to forget
If all of life's gifts were known, it's working into being
I'm sure it's not the best we get, throw the guns away before the war
