Hold me closer so tight we sleep
So soon it seems for the night to leave
And as soon as it does you'll be gone from me
Left in my shadows grief

Skin on tile, my world revived
Where angels scream, and beggars thrive
Where light becomes coerce at noon
Smog inside the empty room

You're not here and I'll say I'm fine
But you should know that through life I lied
And my confession, though frail and poor
Won't burn my heart anymore

I'll never be who I want to be
Torn inside a majestic seed
At least I can say I tried
But as failure brings us closer
