My Monstrosity
Do you hear me, my pulse's exceptional rate
I believe there's a trap that's been laid out for me
I am feeling their eyes on me, gasping for air
Could it be that my mind is playing tricks on me
I am guilty of pleasures not up to debate
A disease that gives way to insecurity
How demeaning, exposed to commiserative stare
Set me free, fighting misconceived reality
I admit to my monstrosity
Anger defies my control
We are born into a world where
Living means playing a role
My hope is I'll see the day
I will have the means to repay
For all that you've done
For all you have done to my soul
I am weary of having to put up with hate
Don't you see my conflicted personality
I'm revealing myself, my emotions lie bare
The salvation of my deranged psychology
