Buying Records Won’t Make Me Feel Better

I've been upset here, been under the weather
I went to Princeton on a trip to buy some records
I thought The Hummingbirds might put things in perspective
But buying records won't help put me back together

I went to Princeton, packed up in my sweater
I hid away in stacks and rows of vinyl records
I thought The Thompson Twins might help me find the answer
But record-buying won't make me feel better faster
