Pissed Myself Twice

I pissed myself in school
Twice
When I was six years old
My mother only knew
From the shorts I was wearing

The teacher found the new ones
In the lost property box
From the office at my school
And swapped them
For my wet ones

Everyone at school laughed at me
When they found out I pissed myself again
The horrible warm sting moved through
My leg and rested somewhere in my head

Embarrassment, shame, and guilt that I had done something wrong
Were digging into my consciousness
I felt I like I was the only person in the history of mankind
Who pissed himself in class; twice
