My Inner Darkness
Darkness, my sense while living
I am the sin of thy being
Thou art the hate in my words
In the paleness of the night thou enchantst my illusions
Never wouldst thou leave me in my eternal sorrow
Darkness, thou fire of glory
Which slowly distorts me
Shining through my spiteful eyes
Darkness, my soul is thy slave
Endeavours to defend itself
It is thy own smile, lurking in my face,
Which seduces the unsuspecting ones
I don't want to hide anything
Neither my ignorance nor my fear,
Nor the plain dread, that my attempt could fail
My inner darkness
Is it granted to me to serve thee
Maybe I should even adore thee
Darkness, my sense while living
I am the sin of thy being
Thou art the hate in my words
Satan, thou fire of glory
Which slowly distorts me
Shining through my spiteful eyes
My inner darkness
