This once insurgent land
With IV´s to the TV we sit
Idly by and cheer as
We interrupt this program with a
Brand new brand of beer
She ends up in the kitchen finishing
The plates bitching our protesters
How they don´t appreciate
The freedom in this country
Her husband clears, his throat
"if they really loved America
They wouldn´t rock the boat"
You say our freedom´s founded in
Our willingness to fight
So why oppose the fight for change
By saying it´s not right
The precept of democracy´s to
Be the people´s rule
If you won´t rule your government
They´ll use as their tool
