Everybody Else

I've gone too many times
Down into the darkness
This world seems to tell me I can't be who I am. There's Dreams in the dark so I light a candle. I'm not trying to throw it in just yet.

Cause I've got time on my side and hands that lift me up. Rainbows that land in the middle of my cup and it's filled to the top. Inspite of myself. I'm just glad to be here. Like everybody else.

So take me to the promise land show me where I'm supposed to land. Cause I don't have much time less here to toil. Just take my babies please. Wrap them up in golden leaves and help us plant our feet into the soil
