That Bloody Night

Nightmares from that bloody day
Haunt me to my dying day

People shouting pointing in
Panic grips all within

Bloody victims every where
Some are dead, I'm to late for them

Where to find the crazy guy
Shooting all that he can find

There he is, next to a man
Threatening to blow him to hell

Do I shoot and end his life
Or will that just cause more strife

Only seconds to decide
Take a life or watch more die

I will do what I must
I must shoot and end him now

Nightmares haunt my waking life
See him die all the time

I never thought that I would find
Myself within that crazy night

I fired my shot then watched him die
Many lives were on the line

Just because that I was right
Does not mean l sleep at night

I'm remembered as a hero
Who saved lives and kill the evil

I am proud that I could help
But to take a life, is hard as hell

I would like to bring back all
Who lost there lives a senseless way
