The Woodpecker And The Pear Tree

Toc-tock tock, tock-tock tock, tock tock-o-tock tock tock

A woodpecker started poking A hole in and old pear tree
The tree began complaining
But the bird hammered on with glee!
The Pears hanging from the branches
Hollered, yelled and screamed:
"If you continue pecking, well fall down from the tree!"

The woodpecker went on pecking
And hammering on with glee,
And every single pear
Tumbled down beneath the tree
The woodpecker stopped his work
When he saw what he had done;
He hung each pear back up wit some hooks and rubber bands
